Stylish Elizabeth Byrne Cropped Jacket

I spotted this cute, cropped jacket in one of my favourite op=shops late last week.  I immediately loved the red slash - almost lip like - shape of the boats/yachts, and the vertical white lines of the rigging.  It washed well too - in my F&P machine with half a dozen polyester dresses and other things.  I need to move the button - which looks like black cut glass - as it is currently a wee bit too big for me.  Now, all I have to do is decide what to wear with it...or what I need to buy to wear with it.

Under my old "clothing regime" this item would be an "orphan" as it does not go with anything I currently own other than jeans and if purchased new could be considered extravagant.  However, under the new regime, ie buy vintage op/retro recycle fashion, I am already thinking it could be punked up with leather or dressed up with a pencil skirt and blouse......and  it cost less than a coffee/hot chocolate!
